We were so close to bring her to the hospital when I suddenly remembered the Angel Baby Bottom Balm from Earth Mama Angel Baby that I purchased months before Ayra was born. The balm claimed to not only cure diaper rash, but also soothes itchy cradle cap, bug bites, scrapes, chicken pox, minor rashes and burns. So I gave it a try, hoping for a miracle to happen...
I only applied it once on her face and head. And two days later...
...poof! The rash is gone!
The balm works like magic. And I love the lavender-ish scent of it (that was one of the reasons why I wanted to purchase it in the first place besides the all-natural ingredients and the cute packaging). You can get this balm at Bebehaus (OU and Hartamas Shopping Centre), or online at thelilcaliph.com for RM29.90 for a small jar. A little goes a long way!
I heart Earth Mama Angel Baby products :)
Speaking of which, I think the Third Trimester Tea somehow helped eased my labor as the herbal remedies helps to prepare the body for birth. I still have about a quarter of the tea left sebab tak sempat nak habiskan and I don't know what to do with it... So I was wondering if any pregnant mommies out there would like to try it? Do email me; I'm giving it away for free.

Now you don't!
I miss your hair, little one. But hey, hair grows!
How long does it take for the hair to grow back anyway? I hope it won't take too long; she might be mistaken as a boy coz babies at this age look pretty much the same, no?
Gotta find a romper that says "I am a Girl!" for the time being. ;p

I want this bag so so badly. It's on sale, but currently out of stock :(
It comes in Off-White as well and is still available. I'm ok with white but my heart is itching for the one in Raspberry....
Or, do you think I should go for Maggie bag in Raspberry instead? It's a vertical version of the above bag, but not as fab - to me, at least.

One of the the things that my baby does that fascinates me the most is when she is woken up from her sleep. It would always makes me go "Awwwhhh" and left me smiling macam orang angau.
It takes a few minutes to finally get some responses from her. I would have to call out her name, tickle her cheeks, her nose, her belly, her feet...
And then the cutest things happen. She would first stretch a BIG arms-in-the-air-and-legs-curled-up stretch, followed by beberapa das kentut. Then she would flash her adorable all-gums smile (eyes still shut), and she would have a little peek before stretching again. Finally with all her might, baru dia buka mata.
But sometimes she would shut her eyes again and drift off to dreamland...
*sighing in awe*

"Ma, apa rasa ada anak?".
And her answer would always be the same no matter how many times we asked her...
"Rasa sayang".
Now that I am a mother, I finally understood the love of a mother for her own child/children. Rasa sayang sangat sangat sangat. It's so different from other kinds of love. A special gift from God. A selfless love. Only mothers know the feeling.

Do you think bag repair includes cleaning? Bcoz Mister Minit (at Isetan The Gardens) does bag (and shoes) repair. I've sent 2 pairs of shoes for repairing before, but didn't notice if they do bag cleaning as well. Doesn't seem like it tho.
If you do know a place, please give me the details - like where, the cost, how long it takes, etc.
Thank you!

Currently, yours truly is using Guarana Berry shampoo and conditioner from The Body Shop.
I don't have the slightest idea what kind of fruit Guarana Berry is (must be some kind of erm... berries?) nor have I heard the name before, but the smell is divine. Reminds me of my favorite tea; Ahmad Tea Peach & Passionfruit. That was one of the reasons I picked this one up besides the volumising thing. Can't say much about the volumising part tho as I always have my hair tied up. But I can feel my scalp is thoroughly cleansed even after 2 days of shampooing and it made my head feels... light. And most importantly, my husband loves the smell of it on me.
This rarely happens but I might consider purchasing a second bottle when I've finished mine - if no other brand gets in the way. I love fruity/floral scent and it's so hard to find shampoos smelling like that. Definitely one of the best shampoos I've ever tried.

October 28th, 2004...
Somebody whom I barely know, called me on my mobile phone. He was halfway across the globe and he got my number from a friend of mine, who happened to be his ex-schoolmate. It was my first time talking to a stranger on the phone, but I felt an instant "connection" with the stranger that our conversation lasted for two hours. We both felt like we've known each other before; perhaps in another world? I wasn't sure what the feeling was, but I remembered telling Maz (my closest friend back in University) a few nights before the stranger called, about this mystery feeling of "rasa macam jodoh dah dekat". I don't know how, but God must've answered my prayers.
Few days later, I received an email from him. There was a song attached to it and a message saying that "he feels like dedicating this song to me". It was a song by Dygta - Kerna Ku Sayang Kamu.
Seandainya, kau ada disini denganku
Mungkin ku tak sendiri
Bayanganmu, yang selalu menemaniku
Hiasi malam sepiku
Kuingin bersama dirimu
Ku tak akan pernah, berpaling darimu
Walau kini, kau jauh dariku
Kan slalu kunanti
Karna ku sayang kamu...
I wasn't sure if he actually mean it, but it was sweet. That was the first time I heard that song and I loved it instantly. Seminggu aku angau! ;p He never actually declared his love for me right until we first met (which was a year later), but that song was the starting of our long-distance relationship.
Now 4 years later, I am blissfully married to that "stranger", and recently blessed with a baby! :)
Anyway my point is, songs can express your unexpressed feelings. It can be difficult to tell someone how much you care; so what better way to say it than dedicating a song!
Now there's a better, more interesting way to dedicate songs to your friends or that special someone. Whether it's a feeling or an expression, you can Pass It On with Music Telegram by DiGi!
All you need to do is log on to digi.com.my/music, sign up as a member using your DiGi mobile number, and then choose from the list of songs that you wanna dedicate. There's a huge selection of songs available - Malay, English, Chinese and Hindi. In conjunction to Digi Music Telegram, you can dedicate a message to your friend and if your message is juicy enough, it will be dedicated on either Hitz, Era or My FM radio programmes and also DiGi's very own Music Squad, so the DJ will randomly select the most interesting song dedications, call up the receiver of the song, pass on the message and play the song that you dedicated for him/her.
You can also send a song through your mobile phone at wapmusic.digi.com.my.
The most interesting dedications will have the opportunity of DiGi Music Squad coming over to the recipient's place to play the chosen song - LIVE! I'd be shocked to death if that ever happened to me! ;p

"It's too big for me, mama. I can't see a thing!"
Anyway, at the hospital...
I was supposed to have an appointment with my OB today too, but we arrived a little late - my OB dah balik - so we had to postpone it to this weekend. Which is fine with me bcoz it means... another trip to the outside world! YAY! ;p
p/s: The barut that my baby wears in the 1st video was given by a blog reader of mine which she got from Indonesia. Thanks, darl! :)

By 5am, the pain worsen as I still couldn't express the milk from my left breast. And having a crying baby only made the whole situation a lot harder to handle. I tried expressing the milk by hand but it hurts. My breast pump? I had been trying to figure out why it did not express my milk at all - at first I thought it was bcoz I don't have a lot of milk. But I could express it with my hand, so there must be something wrong with the pump bcoz I can't even feel the suction! It was so dissapointing. I was so close to write a complaint letter to Philips/Avent to get a refund or something, and buy a different pump (Medela) out of desperation bcoz I need to get the milk out of my breast ASAP... until my husband came to the rescue. Well, he didn't literally help with getting the milk out; he helped to assemble the pump and it turned out the pump did not work earlier bcoz I didn't insert one of the parts (the white valve). Nasib baik tak tulis surat complaint; kalau tak, malu jer! ;p
And so the milk from my left breast was expressed successfully, and the pain and lumps were gone! I didn't get that much milk at first tho - only 60ml in an hour! The next pumping session, it gradually increased to 60ml in half an hour, and just this morning I managed to pump 80ml in just 20 minutes (I got 60ml of milk at the first 10 minutes btw). Now I'm kind of looking forward to pumping my milk bcoz it feels like my breast is being massaged. And I get really excited seeing my milk flows, filling the bottle!
But I just found out there's a few cuts around my areola as a result from pumping, and it stings. It only hurts after I've finished pumping tho. Sometimes it bleeds a little. Sebab macam ada kulit terkopek. Is this common? How do I prevent this from happening? Appreciate your help, mommies.

LOSE A LOT OF KG!
I want to get back to weighing less than 48kg - anything within the range of 45-48kg.
Pregnancy has made me gained even more than what I used to weigh before Herbalife. My heaviest weight during pregnancy was 64kg and now right after delivery I weigh 59kg. I have never been so heavy in my life! In case you were wondering what I look like at the moment, just look back at my old pics (ie. me during my sister's wedding). Although I'm heavier now, my body measurement is exactly the same as before, except maybe my cheeks - they aren't as full as they used to be. But I'm still FAT.
I didn't start my weight loss program right away tho. Procrastination, what else. I wanted to wait until New Year bcoz it seems like a great way to jumpstart everything. But I'm still consuming Herbalife shakes during my confinement, and so far it's just for nutrition and also to avoid myself from eating too much of something else that would lead to gaining more weight. I took the shake on average 3-4 times a day besides snacking on cereals (with full cream milk) and breads bcoz I'm lactating, so I'm easily hungry (is that excusable?). And yes I still have my usual meals (rice) for lunch and dinner... but despite all that, I managed to lose 2 inches off my tummy in just about 4 days - which, of course, is good news!
Speaking of Herbalife, there's a new product that will be launched this month.
It's Tea Mix in Peach flavor (the current @ original flavor is Lemon btw). I can't wait to taste it!
Anyways, I'm still taking orders for Herbalife so don't worry about bothering me during confinement bcoz I do everything from home. That's the beauty of the Internet. So if your New Year's resolution is to lose weight as well, come and join me! ;)
