I did, and I think they are so cute. I wonder if they really were a couple....
Anyways, Berry wanted to impress Lemon by presenting the biggest monument of love - the Purple Heart - that he built as a Valentine's Day gift, and I was invited to witness the momentous event (thanx Nuffnang!) which took place at the Concourse area of Sunway Pyramid.
I had this idea of wearing a yellow top while my husband wears purple to signify Berry and Lemon when I realized that I don't have a single piece of yellow clothing in my closet. Come to think of it, I never had anything in yellow (except that BR bag and one scarf but those two don't count as clothing).
We arrived there at 11am sharp and the first thing I saw was of course the gigantic Purple Heart that stood right in the middle of the concourse.
There was some kind of a demonstration going on too. A few guys were holding purple banners that said things like "Love needs a little help", "Do it for love", "How big is your heart", etc. They were actually helping Berry to build the Purple Heart! The heart was made of thousands of Ribena purple bottle caps that were donated by people from all around Malaysia. How impressive!
While waiting for the appearance of the celebrity fruit couple, hubby and I played some games. There were Ribena Perfect Match Throwing Game, Dice Game, Dance Game and Drinking Game. There were freebies and free Ribena drinks as well.
At about 12 noon, Berry and Lemon finally appeared. Berry presented the Purple Heart to Lemon but unfortunately, Lemon wasn't really happy with it bcoz the heart was not fully completed. Everyone went like "oh-ohh"... There was still some empty spaces that needed to be filled with the purple bottle caps.
So Henry and Belinda asked for help from the crowd to collect more purple bottle caps...
The Purple Heart was then completed and Lemon was happy, and they both danced to their song (the Bollywood song). Everyone cheered. I love a happy ending :)
We were then led to TGV for the screening of New In Town movie.
FYI, this is the first time we get to go to the cinema to watch a movie after having a baby - which was like 2+ months? - so of course I was so looking forward to it. At first I thought it was a boring movie, but turned out it was funny! Especially the scene where that guy (I forgot his name already) tried to help Renee with her zipper bcoz she wanted to pee. God, that was hilarious! I really enjoyed it. Thanks to Ribena for the free tickets (and for the hotdog and popcorn and oh yes, Ribena drinks as well!).
Anyway, we went straight home after the movie ended bcoz my little girl is waiting for me (we left her with my PIL btw). I miss her already!
Err gee, she looks like a boy. I am never gonna dress her in a blue romper again - at least not until her hair is fully grown!

My baby, on the other hand, received her very first Pos Laju package yesterday - and she is only 2 1/2 months old.
I wonder what it is and who is it from....

Isn't it pweeety? It's Anya Hindmarch Jethro bag. The bag should arrive by this week. I can't wait!
I guess my quest to find a bag can be put on hold for awhile.
Anyway speaking of rezeki, my husband is one step closer to run his "little business". It's something related to Apple - it could be the fruit, or the gadget. I won't go into further detail tho, since the highlight of this entry is the bag! ;p
I am over the moon!

But I realized one thing. I have to constantly move around when I'm wearing her. If I sit or stand still, she would huffed and puffed and tried to wriggle her way out like she's being forcefully wrapped. Unless, of course, if she is sleeping...
It takes a lot of practices for me to get use to wearing my baby in the pouch. I still haven't mastered the ways to take her out of that pouch without needing the bed, which explains why I seldom wear her outside. I would leave that to my husband, who would wear her in the baby carrier (when she refuses to sit in the stroller)...
I find myself smiling whenever I see (young) fathers carrying their babies like that. Cute.
Some benefits of babywearing:
- Babywearing enables the mother to be acutely aware of her baby's cues and signals and heightens her perception of her child's needs.
- Babywearing reduces crying and fussiness by up to 51%, with parents feeling more competent and nurturing toward their children.
- Being in close physical contact with a parent provides a baby with a rich learning environment where all of their most important needs can be met - food, warmth, love and touch
- Babies who are carried learn more, stimulating brain development and expanding their future learning potential.
- Babywearing increases cardiac output, improves circulation, promotes respiration and aids in digestion.
- Babywearing provides the exact level and kind of stimulation an infant requires, energizing their nervous system and creating a quiet, calm alertness in the infant.
- Babywearing decreases the levels of stress hormones circulating in a baby's blood stream, resulting in a more relaxed, happy baby
- Frequently carried babies fall asleep quickly and will usually sleep deeper and for longer periods of time in the comfort of their sling.
- Babywearing develops the muscles needed for the infant to sit, stand and walk.
- Babywearing enhances motor skills by stimulating the baby's vestibular system (balance organs) by exposing the baby to a variety of sights, sounds and motion,.
- Babies worn in slings feel safe and secure which helps to foster a solid sense of self.
- Babywearing offers easy access to the infant's food source - mothers' breast milk, without having to stop or sit down.

Yes I've lost a few weight but it's just 3 kilos and a few tiny inches here and there. I still have like 10 more kilos to lose, which is a LOT! I know I did say that I will start my diet seriously after New Year but hmm.. my mom was against the idea of me dieting bcoz I'm breastfeeding and she worries it might affect my milk production (altho I know it won't). I didn't want to worry her so I stopped my weight loss program for awhile (which only lasted for a week) and decided to continue after we moved into our own house - which was end of last month (after Chinese New Year).
But I secretly think my progress is pretty good, considering the food I ate and the fact that it hasn't been a month yet. And no, I don't exercise. Just so you know, last week was pizza week for us. We had pizza almost everyday for lunch bcoz my house is not fully-equipped for cooking yet, and pizza seemed like the easiest option - both delivery and frozen. I was actually surprised I didn't gain any weight but instead lose it! :)
Anyways, since I'm breastfeeding and always hungry, I have on average 3 shakes a day. Sometimes 4. Here's how my daily meal plan looks like:
Breakfast: Herbalife shake
Snack: Herbalife shake
Lunch: Normal meal
Dinner: Herbalife shake
I drink about 1 liter of the tea, from morning until 6pm (bcoz I'm afraid that it could affect my baby's sleeping time at night since the tea is energizing). Speaking of the tea, the new peach tea tastes so sedap! I love it. It's not bitter at all. Those of you who loved the lemon tea before, you will love the peach tea even more, believe me. Rasa manis-manis buah.
So that's it. No secrets whatsoever.
Thanks for the compliments tho. I am now more determine to lose weight :)
I'll keep you guys posted with my progress from time to time.

It was pretty early, but just a few weeks after we got married, I already had in mind of how I wanted to surprise my husband on our anniversary. I planned to make a surprise candlelight dinner. I already had in mind what I wanted to cook for appetizer, main course and dessert. I even visualized the table setting. But that plan had to be cancelled bcoz I didn't know there would be a third person who demands my attention 24-7.
So instead, we went out to celebrate it. We didn't want to leave our baby behind on this special day, so we brought her along too. And since bringing a baby to a fine dining place is not a good idea, we just had a casual dinner at Marche, The Curve (the Strawberry Banana smoothies is really good btw - I ordered it twice).
Anyway...
Happy Anniversary, my darling husband. I guess we both don't know what we want for our anniversary bcoz we have Ayra? :) I love you (both) to bits!

The Streamyx people informed that he will be coming for the internet installation thingy soon - which is, next week. I don't know. I mean, he told that too last week. But we'll see. I really hope this time he keeps his words. I can't stand anymore living a day without the Internet. I don't mind not watching the telly for days - I didn't watch TV at all during my confinement period bcoz the TV at my parents' house is upstairs; my room is downstairs and my mom forbade me from going up and down the stairs - which is fine with me.
But without the Internet, I feel so....
Hmm. I guess "lost" is the word.
She's trying to say, "Hi guys!".

It's a good thing we live just 5 minutes away from my PIL's tho. That's how I'm able to get online. Like now. But I can't blog much at the moment as I have tons of emails to read and reply to. I'd take some time for me to reply to each and every email that you guys sent me, but I'll try my best to reply them as soon as possible.
In the mean time, let's hope I would get internet connection by this week.
p/s: My little girl is 2 months old. She could talk - in her own "goo-goo-gaa-gaa" language! :)
