But anyways, I've done my "homework" - so guys, feast your eyes! (It took me 7 hours straight to finish all of these so you guys better not complain ;p).
Oh before I start, I have some advice for Brides-to-be that may be useful:
1) If your waist is an asset and you don't need a corset (gee... that seems to rhyme) to flatten it, then don't ever wear one! You are going to "duduk bersimpuh and control ayu" for almost an hour (or more) and the least thing you need is suffocating in your own wedding dress. I did not wear a corset during Nikah and Reception (I was advised by my sis), but I did wear one at the reception on my husband's side. God, I could barely breathe, let alone swallow my food! And that was sitting on a chair!
2) Always try on the whole outfit (including scarf, veil, shoes, everything) and parade in front of the mirror at least a night before the wedding day. You need to get a rough idea how you're gonna look like and prepare for any last-minute changes, if any.
3) Have at least 1 extra scarf (tudung) and serkup (anak tudung) if you're gonna wear one, bcoz you never know how the Makeup Artist or mak andam or whoever in charge of helping you with your tudung is going to do it. You don't wanna risk a bad-tudung-day on your special day now, do you?
4) Choose your "kerusi sanding" with a backrest, if possible, one that is high enough to support your entire back and shoulders. We can barely sandar on the one we had for Nikah, causing us to have back pain for days! I couldn't imagine if I wore a corset on that day...
Okay that's it. I'm done babbling. Let's get on with the pictures.

What Nurul Iza Means |
You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way. And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life. You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily. Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are incredibly wise and perceptive. You have a lot of life experience. You are a natural peacemaker, and you are especially good at helping others get along. But keeping the peace in your own life is not easy. You see things very differently, and it's hard to get you to budge. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. |

I do want to update, but what happens is... I turn on the laptop, login to Blogger, click on the New Post link and as I move the cursor to the blank area to start typing my entry, my mind goes blank as well. It's not like I don't have anything to update - I do have, like tons of it. But I guess those have to wait for awhile until I can gather my old blogging self back. Not sure how long that would take though.
As of now, I'm off to dreamland.
God, I miss Hariz.
p/s: My Bibik, who is a Javanese maid, made pancakes for breakfast. Pancakes! Isn't that something? I think it is.

Isn't that a brilliant idea? It's like in a shoe shop! You know, I always dream about having my own shoe room (when I have my own mansion or something similar to that) with built-in shelves that could display all my shoes like the ones you see in a shop (I've always had Pedder Red in mind). But I never thought our book shelves can be turned into one!
But of course she will need more of that shelves... which is why we're going to Ikea one of these days to hunt for shelves that look something like that for her shoes. I can't wait!
p/s: It's MZ's birthday today! Happy Birthday, sweetheart! May you live happily ever after with me :D

That's a Tiramisu cake, sponsored by Hanis from Just Heavenly, and the taste is just like the name itself - heavenly! Thanx sis, and thank you everyone for the surprise! We really didn't expect any of it.
*pics courtesy from Hanis' blog. I do not want to upload the family pic bcoz I look chubby and err, some say I looked pregnant? Well it's the baju kurung, it's not ME okay. I ran out of baju kurung as I have slimmed down so I borrowed mom's.
Moving on to a more special birthday celebration...
With Hubby
MZ didn't really forget my birthday the other day - he was busy playing with his early birthday present that he didn't notice what time it was. And it turned out that I have accidentally set the reminder in his handphone at 9am. Dang! He did wished me like 20 minutes after midnight, so that's forgivable. He was still the first person to wish, so that's what matters the most, isn't it ladies? :D
Anyway, MZ took me to dinner last Sunday at Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant on KL Tower, to celebrate our birthdays. It was actually my first time going up the tower so I was excited!
One of the best bits of going out is the dressing up part. I really enjoy trying on various tops before deciding on one (although it can be excruciating when you don't have anything to wear - or so you thought) and choosing the right accessories to go with it and parading in and out of the room with high-heels and whatnot. It's like on a fashion show - well, I am my hubby's private catwalk model and he finds that amusing. Anyway, after trying on 2 tops (we were running out of time so there ain't much time to try on like 10 tops like I always do), I decided to wear a white wrap top from Banana Republic, Levi's jeans, the black Coach scarf that was given by my hubby, a snake-like necklace and a Faux Snake Clutch both from Warehouse, and my new JLo heels. Hubby on the other hand, wore a Tommy Hilfiger shirt, Topshop jeans and Tod's shoes. He doesn't need any accessories bcoz he has me! haha ;p
I told you it was the baju kurung. See? My tummy is flatttt.
There are 3 stations for the food - Malaysian, Western (and a bit of Asian coz there are sushis) and desserts.
Appetizer
Dessert
There was something else, but let's keep that as "our little secret". It's by far, the best birthday celebration everrr! *wink*
Oh btw, this is the early birthday present that I gave him - the Slim & Lite PSP...
I think I'm addicted to it too...

and...
1" Coach Tattersal Enamel bangle
The Coach scarf is pretty small in size (27" x 27") and that's the smallest scarf I have ever worn - but it turned out to be the easiest to wear in terms of hmm.. everything. I love it! The only drawback is that the scarf is 100% silk, which means it needs to be dry clean only (I always find that somewhat cumbersome - well, don't you?).

This li'l guy was excited with the present too, so he helped me to open it...
My sisters and I went shoe-shopping at Pavilion today, and while waiting for his mommy to try out tons of shoes, Hariz enjoyed his own reflection in front of the mirror. Fyi, this li'l guy sangat suka tengok cermin! I guess he likes what he sees, ey? ;)
I managed to record a video of him waving at himself. It's a short (and blurry) clip tho, but it's so cute...
Anyway, yours truly managed to grab some shoes too - Aldo, JLo, and Nine West shoes. There's nothing wrong with buying birthday presents for yourself, no? ;D
