I gave birth to a baby boy and it wasn't painful at all bcoz I was sleeping during the whole baby-coming-out process. In my dream, I thought I was dreaming. I didn't realize that I've given birth until my hubby told me. I peeked under the duvet to check my belly (sure enough, there was no bump) and there wasn't a single stretch mark, so I was happy...
...until I got changed. I nearly fainted when I saw the cheetah-printed stretch marks in a rainbow shape at the upper back of my body. It looks something like this, except it's white-ish instead of black:
It was freaking hideous and the ugliest stretch mark I've ever seen! I was so shocked that it woke me up from my sleep and I'm glad it was just a dream. I don't know the ending of my dream - heck, I don't even want to know! I've had a few vivid, weird and freaky dreams ever since I got pregnant, but this is by far the freakiest! *shudders*Then I realized I didn't massage my body with oil before going to bed last night, bcoz I was so jaded that I couldn't even lift an arm (I went for cooking classes since last week. Yesterday was the last day - thank God!), and I couldn't ask hubby for help bcoz he was asleep. Maybe that's why I had that dream. I am never ever going to bed without massaging my body with oil ever again!
Well, speaking of massage oil, I am currently using Elemis Japanese Camellia Oil, which was recommended by Victoria Beckham in her fab book, That Extra Half an Inch; but hers was a green bottle, like this. Mine is maroon.

I've been using it for about a week now (especially for my tummy and boobs, since those two are "growing"), and I'm seeing difference. Not in terms of stretch marks tho bcoz so far I have none on those areas, but in terms of moisturizing. Before this, the skin around my tummy is dry and flaky as a result of too much Kwan Loong ointment sbb saya selalu pedih perut, and I've been using L'Occitane Supple Skin Oil for nearly a month (I prefer oils to creams or lotions bcoz I find it easier to massage, absorbs faster and non-sticky), but my skin condition was still the same. It's a "dry oil" so I guess that doesn't really help in moisturizing (but the scent is nice tho). That's why I switched to Elemis oil, and now my tummy is not dry and flaky anymore :)
Let's hope it works for stretch marks too.

Anyway, according to the indicator, green is for GPRS network, cyan is for HSDPA network and blue is for WCDMA network (whatever that is). I think the last one is the best. And I think the light indicator on our USB modem shows the color blue, although hubby said it's cyan. Whichever, as long as the network is available and is working fine!
There's a 7-day return policy, which means we have another 6 days to test it. Let's see how it goes...
**Updated**
We decided to return the modem back bcoz it's a bit slow at night (hubby wants to use the Internet at night, after work). I guess night time is the peak time, so the connection is congested!

Yes people, yours truly is pregnant.
I AM PREGNANT! :)
I have my own reasons why I didn't announce it right after I found out I was pregnant. I wasn't trying to hide anything. There's no way you can keep pregnancy a secret bcoz soon enough, your growing tummy will reveal it for you, so of course I will tell you the news eventually - it's just a matter of time. I just wanted to wait for the right time to announce it, that is, after the high-risk period is over. It's so tempting but I wanted to make sure that my pregnancy is stable before spreading the news. Which is why I'm doing it now. Alhamdulillah, I am now entering the second trimester and I have to say that I'm glaaad and relieved that my first trimester is finally over! I did (and still do) get pregnancy sickness starting week 8 until now (I won't call it morning sickness tho, bcoz I'm at the "healthiest" state when I wake up in the morning) but it's not severe. I can't wait for the queasiness to totally ease up, which hopefully would be in about a week or so.
The news shocked the two of us bcoz we weren't really expecting to have a baby straight away. We were planning to get pregnant like, end of this year, tapi kita hanya merancang, Allah yang menentukan. Alhamdulillah, rezeki datang awal. It's an unplanned but surely a welcome pregnancy!
Anyway... remember our birthday dinner at KL Tower? Remember I mentioned "our little secret"? Well, this is it! I found out I was pregnant 2 days before our birthday dinner so I planned to break the news to my husband at that time. Perfect timing, ey? The baby would be our birthday present (although I'm not sure who gave to whom actually ;p). I had to keep my mouth shut and God knows how tempting it was! Imagine keeping your pregnancy from your husband?! That was the longest 2 days of my life. But I did a great job bcoz hubby didn't suspect anything - not even the late period, my sudden increase in appetite, abdominal cramps, nor the sore and sensitive breasts. I guess he just thinks I'm being whiney as usual ;p
I decided to surprise him so I made him a card, handmade by me and put the pregnancy test kits inside a small box. I also bought a book about pregnancy for dads-to-be, entitled The Expectant Father (buying this book was another challenge bcoz he was in the bookstore too, but thank God LV Speedy 30 is spacious enough that I could make a purchase without a trace!)
And then later he asked me whether it's a boy or a girl. I was only 6 weeks pregnant at that time laa! Hehe.

I still can't believe I'm pregnant - that I'm going to be a mommy. Rasa macam baru jer kawin hari tu... It's so surreal.

Mmm...
My wedding reception is one of the best moments in my life. I wish I could rewind the moment over and over again. I wanna be a bride again, boleh? A bride to the same husband :)

Getting readyI was excited, but at the same time I was unsure of the whole wedding gown idea. I mean, I wear tudung anddd, have you seen any tudung-wearing brides in wedding gowns before? Exactly. Never. Or at least, I haven't seen one. That's why I was unsure. Fyi, I'm not the type of person yg berani trying something new. That's my little sister. Not me. My mom even suggested I make a new baju but luckily Rizman ckp tak sempat dah bcoz there's only 3 days left before the wedding day. Huhu. But after being convinced by Rizman, Ruzaini, my husband and both my sisters, I finally agreed. After all, it is a once-in-a-lifetime moment so it has to be extra special! The only thing I didn't agree with was the tudung part. I was supposed to wear a serkup-like tudung, like what my Maid of Honor and flower girls wore, except mine has lace and real flowers. One, bcoz I think I look ugly and funny wearing only serkup and two, bcoz my husband tak bagi. So that's why I wore back my Nikah tudung.
But I'm glad I wore the gown! I've always dream of wearing a ball gown on my wedding day like one of those Disney Princesses when I was a kid, but I have never ever ever thought of really wearing it on my actual wedding day. Somehow, Rizman Ruzaini made my childhood dream come true!

One of the the best moment in life... berarak masuk dewan. The feeling is indescribable!
Renjis renjis dipilis...
