Later on in the afternoon, I received a phone call from my sis.
Hanis: Along, guess whattt...
Me: Ko pregnant?
Hanis: Ha'ahhhh!!!! Aaaaa...
Me: Ohmygoddd!
Heee.... Don't ask me how I knew it. My sisterly-instinct told me kot. Either that, or I am a psychic. Hecee... ;p (pronounce it as 'psy-chick' ok). I was over the moon when I heard the news. Hanis. Pregnant. Baby. Cute baby stuff. Wooohh! But then it occured to me - if she's gonna have a baby, that would soon make me a err... Mak Long? Ohhoo... Kak Long, more like! I mean, I'm not even married yet! ;p
We went on talking excitedly about babies, maternity wears (she complained about GUESS not having bajus for pregnant ladies- hohh gedix kay! Tapi kinda bersetuju gak coz hey, there are GUESS Kids. What about GUESS Moms?), shoes, baby bags, etc.
Anyway, I was supposed to keep it as a secret and berlakon seperti 'terkejut' when they announce it later on masa family get-together, and so I did tapi Tuhan jer la yg tahu betapa tempting nyer utk membuka mulut ini tauu. Especially to my other adiks. I mean, sister-get-preggy is not an everyday thing, ok! So instead of spilling out the secret, I made up a story. I told my bro that they (my BIL and sis) nak banje mkn nanti bcoz they are announcing about migrating to the States konon2 Rahz dpt keje sana. And my bro believed it bulat2, and told my dad about it (and then he told him not to tell mama; bagus la tuuu, dua2 kne tipu) and he too, believed it! haha. And I guess mereka2 lagi terpercaya sehingga la di saat2 terakhir before my BIL told about the preggy story, bcoz he announced about the promotion he got first, so jalan citer pindah ke US itu adalah seperti betul jer (heh Rahz, I think that's why la Abah kinda terkejut sbb he was expecting u mention pasal US lepas tu, instead of 'atuk & nenek' kot...hoho).
Besides family get-together, Bloggers get-together dan meet-ups juga turut berlangsung. I think last week was the week paling ramai pemblog I met so far. Started with Kak Suz and Kak Anna on Friday (ohhh itu Irdina adalah sgt comel dannn tak takut org yer! Fyi, saya adalah agak malu2 kuceng juga dgn baby2. Mungkin kerana mak mereka ada bersama, kalau tak pasti bayi2 itu dah kne terkam lama dah..hihihi. Tapi kalau mereka nangis, saya adalah takut). Then on Saturday met Naya to pass some things and then went for lunch with Mrs. Imran, Alia, Ary and Nina together with Hanis at Chili's (please heskius pancaran kilauan mat kilau di dahi saya dlm gambau ni yer).

Oh right, the Celine bag.
Since some of you wanted to see how it looks like, I'll show u the pic. But ain't gonna show u the whole bag though... Kasi mind-boggling sket! ;p
Speaking of bags, look how klutzy I am. The inner zipped-pocket of my new Scribble Coach bag got stained, thanx to my Dior waterproof crayon eyeliner. Don't ask me how those stains bole terconteng kat situ (I forgot to screw the cap of my eyeliner ketat2)! Arhh...geram2. I've only worn it once ok. I've tried washing it under running water, but bcoz it's a Coach (read: of good material), the fabric didn't get wet - at all. It's waterproof! Which should be a good thing right, but in my case it's a complete con bcoz how on earth am I gonna take those stains off?? Eyeliner nyer waterproof, bag pon waterproof tsk. Is there any shops that specialize in cleaning designer bags? Or should I take this bag to Coach boutique??
Okay, back to Paris.
So besides few tops and the Celine bag, I also got this pair of black boots from a shop that sells lotsa shoesss directly from the factory. It is super cheap, converted to RM tak sampai 150. And they're of good material. The heels are sturdy and they are super comfy, much more comfy than Wani's Nike Cortes - no kidding! That's why Wani bought a pair too. Anyway I bought it bcoz the boots that I got from eBay before going to Paris is way too big. It's a size 39, which is err.. size 7/8 I think? I'm a size 5 foot, so imagine how I walked in those boots. It ain't made for walking - at least not for me.
The one with buckles is Wani's and mine is the slouchy one with stitching details
The World's Greatest Super Boyfriend trophy!
Wait for my next exciting entry on yummy bags and shoes that I just got! (yes, plural).
A sinful treat, I would say ;)

Hmm... I think I'll start with the latter one.
Ok, so we went to France last week. The flight went smoothly, Alhamdulillah. I didn't bring any liquid items on flight sbb takut kang kne rampas ke apa due to the Europe/US liquid bombing thingy. But it turned out mereka tak check langsung. After about 7 hours of exhausting but fun flight, we transited in Dubai for about 4 hours (I watched Devil Wears Prada on flight twice btw. Which makes altogether 6 times!). Then 8 hours after that, we arrived safely in France.
We stayed at Marriott's Village d'Ile-de-France, which is not situated in Paris. I thought duduk btul2 kat kota Paris. Anyway, the Marriot's Village is a really nice place to stay. The area surrounding it is so calm and peaceful, and very scenic - there's a duck pond (or izzit a lake) at the back or our townhouse. C'est magnifique! Plus, transportation is easy bcoz there's a free shuttle bus every few hours which took us to Marne La Valle-Chessy metro station that's only about 5km away. That's where Disneyland is located.
So bcoz Disneyland is only like 10 minutes away from our place, that was the first place we went to. It took us 2 whole days nak habis jelajah both Disneyland Parc and Studio. Tu pon tak semua rides kitorang naik. Btw, this is my first time going to Disneyland (2nd time for my adiks2). I feel like a little kid once again!
Ok, I've done enough talking, so let's move on with the pictures.
Lemme in!!
The Incredibles version manusia
Hail to the new Queen of Narnia!
This is a mock-up of an umbrella shop. It's cute isn't it?
We went to some famous places/monuments in Paris the next few days, including Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Opera Garnier, etc etc. I can't remember all the names of the buildings bcoz they're all tongue twisting ! Anyway, I think we did lots of sightseeing more than shopping (that's what happen when dad's around!).
at Marne La Valle metro station
Eiffel I'm in love!
Arc de Trompet
Musee du Louvre
Err...
Notre Damnnn
sungai ape tah...
Now I like this pic.
Wani wearing Fendi in front of LV. Hey, it rhymes!
Okay, let's get to the juicy shopping bits!
Of all the shopping malls that I listed down before going to France, we only managed to find 3 of 'em - Galeries Lafayette (there're 2 of 'em. And they're huge!), Bazar de l'Hotel de Ville and Printemps. Things are so expensive especially at Galeries Lafayette, we didn't buy anything. Hello, Lancome mascara when converted to RM is about 130! You can get the same one in Malaysia for less than RM90.
Just a day before going back to Malaysia, we found a mall at Val D'Europe which is waayyyy affordable. I managed to get a few tops, and most of them are brands that I have never heard of (except for Naf Naf).
And, that's not it. There's a designer outlet as well - La Valle Outlet Shopping Village. Yay! Val D'Europe is only one station from Marne La Valle so we went there twice that day sbb dah tak cukup masa nak shopping (balik rumah kejap utk solat).
Anyway, among the outlets yg ada kat situ are Ferragamo, Celine, Bally, Burberry, MaxMara, Lancel, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenzo, Armani, Calvin Klein, Agnes B, Christian Lacroix, Givenchy, Timberland and many many moree.. More than 75 prestigious brands! (too bad there ain't any LV outlet. I was aiming for LV bag) All the brands are 33% cheaper than normal boutiques' prices. And on top of that, we can claim 12% VAT (tax) for purchases over 170 euros. We'd be crazy not to shop!!
Mama bought herself a black leather Bally bag, a blue-ish purple Lancel shoulder bag and Burberry Brit perfume set. Dad bought a few Polo shirts for himself; my bro bought a pair of Timberland boots and a Polo shirt, annnndddddd both my sister and I got these for ourselves:
