Car or Cash?

I always have a hard time making choices, especially if all of the available options are very appealing (or in other words, I wish I could choose all instead of just one). It doesn't matter how big or small the matter is - even choosing a top to exchange at Promod the other day (well that's another story) took me about 2 hours to come up with a decision - bcoz I need to be very sure that I made the rightest choice. MZ has got to be one of the most patient guys on earth. Heee...

Anyway since I'm working now, my dad offered to get me a car (just a normal car, nothing biggy) but then he decided to make the offer more interesting by giving me 2 choices - either he bought me a car, or he gave me cash of the same amount.

Thing is, MZ has a car and we're working at the same place so transportation is not really a problem for me. But I've never had my own car and if I don't get one, I'm not sure when I would really drive. But then at the same time cash is interesting too and my dad said "you can do whatever you want with the money". Of course he meant for future use. Now isn't that appealing? (I'm not gonna spend on shopping of course, if that's what you have in mind ;p).

So if it were you, which one would you choose - car or cash?

J.Co Donuts - Simply Addictive!

I can't believe how seriously addicted we are to J.Co Donuts. Can you believe that MZ and I had nothing but donuts for dinner, 5 days in a row now?? Yeah well, that's what happened when your office is in the heart of KL, where you can just easily drop by the mall on your way back home to get/eat whatever it is that you wish for without worrying about the traffic (I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, tho).

Anyway, we've never heard of J.Co Donuts before and no one has ever recommended it to us. What happened was, MZ and I went to Pavilion a few weekends ago to check out the new mall for the first time, and after having our lunch at YO! Sushi, we decided to go back home when we walked past this one shop. It was just like any other shops, but there were looooooooong queues of excited people that made us burning with curiousity and we went like, "What are they queueing for? Is there like, a 90% off discount or something..." and then I saw donuts and I wondered if they taste better than any other donut shops. So we joined the queue, and about 15 minutes later we bought our first half-dozen donuts and since then we couldn't get enough of J.Co!

This is pretty much how the queue looks like EVERY day. No kidding!

I nearly swooned when I had my first bite (it was Oreology). The donuts are so delectable and so so SO soft! MZ said it tastes better than Krispy Kreme (we don't have that in Malaysia, do we?) and I think it tastes better than any other donuts. My favorite has got to be Oreology and Cheese Me Up (the most), Heaven Berry and Tira Miss You. I had 6 donuts for dinner today (which is doubled of what I usually had!), and I can't hardly breathe bcoz my tummy is so stuffed it could explode anytime now. I think I'm done with donuts for this week, seriously. Thank God there's Herbalife bcoz I need to shed off those extra calories that I've been consuming!

The Minty Pink Stilettos

I love cutesy stuff, especially if it's pink and shoes-y like this mint I got from Watsons. There were a few to choose from and they were all SO cute that I had a hard time making up my mind, but at last I picked the one with a stiletto, simply bcoz I'm a high-heel girl (not bcoz of the 'high maintenance' word bcoz I don't think I am).

And it has a mirror. Perfect.

I'm still here

I know, I know.
I've been on hiatus for way too long. I've lost track how many weeks now, but it must've been that long bcoz I've forgotten my Blogger username, believe it or not (after the 3rd attempt baru betul ;p)!

I'm currently accessing the internet from Starbucks at MV. Which means, my internet connection at home is still not working. Plus, my network card suda rosak. *sobs* I'm thinking of buying a new lappy instead, but I'm not sure if I could survive 4 months without shopping. Hmmmm....

Anyway, here's some update while I was awayyy:

I've got a job, not as a Marketing Executive btw (my 1st job interview, remember? Well, I got a better offer). The Law of Attraction (LOA) says, "what you focus on expands" right? So that's what I got.

I didn't know which field I wanna involve in; all I know is that I DON'T wanna work in IT field. But of course that's what I got - a job in IT field. But here's the best part. It's an American company and I get to learn American accent bcoz my job involves direct communication with the Americans, so excellence in their accent is a must (we have trainings and everything, of course). Just so you know, fluency in American English is one of my dream goals, so I guess it's LOA!

And to make it even best-er (excuse my grammar. tee-hee), MZ is working with the same company too (he had to, bcoz apparently it's a compulsory in order for "something big" to happen). We're not in the same training group tho (his class is next to mine) and so far it's been fun. I feel like I have a 'secret admirer' from next class bcoz we often share secret glances and smiles whenever we bumped into each other (we didn't announce that we're an item anyway except to the HR people, but news spread fast and most of them know now).

It has been nearly a month now and we're still on training. The first week of training is by far the bestest bcoz we learn English and also American accent (English has always been my fave subject in school). To be honest, the whole training thingy doesn't feel like work at all. College, more like. Except we get paid. Heh heh. Anyway, the trainers were from the Philippines and.. do you know Filipinos speak American accent so well? It fascinates me, really. I could listen to them all day! I'm still catching up bcoz American accent is like so fast, plus I always sound better in British (which MZ finds really amusing) but that's okay. That's the whole point of training, right? MZ doesn't seem to have a problem with American accent tho bcoz that's his mama's tongue! ;p (hey you know what? MZ's British accent sounds more like Kelantanese nyer English. Tak tipuuu) .

Alrite, I think I have to end it here. I gotta go coz tomorrow's working day (and I have a little shopping to do)!

Have a fab Monday!
