In the kitchen...
Ayra: What you cooking, mama?
Me: I'm making pizza.
Ayra: Ooh pizza! Itsa pees a caaake (it's a piece of cake)
Wait a minute, did my 3-year-old just used an idiom? I'm impressed!
I'm pretty sure she didn't mean the pizza is a cake tho, coz she knows the difference between those two. But yeah, she is right. Making pizza is a piece of cake!
My current favorite toppings:
beef salami, mushroom, avocado, arugula, tomatoes.
Sprinkled with cheese and baked for about 8-10 minutes.
Mmm....
Perhaps one day I can get her to help me make a pizza. It's just a piece of cake!
