My husband and I spent hours watching What Would You Do last night. It's basically a TV show with hidden cameras that captured how people react with various real-life ethical scenarios that call out for action. It's very touching and moving. I was all teary (and so was my husband). You guys should really watch it!
Racism In An Upscale Store - Part 1
Racism in Upscale Store - Part 2
Man Stealing Bike In Park
People react differently when they change the stealer from white to black.
And what happens when a pretty blond chick tries to steal the bike? Some actually helped her! Pfft. Seriously, men? *roll eyes*
Pretty Girl Stealing Bike
Baby Locked In A Car
Helping Stranger Buy Medicine
Grocery Clerk with Special Needs
Single Mother Can't Afford Groceries
Teen Abusing His Girlfriend
How Muslims Are Treated In America
I'm deeply moved watching all of these. It's good to know there are still good and kind people in this world. But most people tend to judge and stereotype others based on their race, gender, how they dress up, etc etc and it's just sad. I wonder how we Malaysians would react to these kind of situations if they ever happen to us! What would you do?
