Needs VS. Wants

Needs:

I am going to get my most-wanted Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, one of these days. I just need to make up my mind whether to go for the White one, OR the Tan one as shown below:
Dr. Q Groovee Bag in Tan

I am also in need of a new wallet bcoz my current Coach wallet does not have enough slots for my cardsss. The other day, I nearly break a nail trying to take out my Parkson Elite card! (I put like 3-4 cards in one slot - that's why). I would love to get one of these simple-yet-chic darlings, also from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

It's either this one...
Dr. Q Long Wallet in White

or this one..

Totally Turnlock Flap Clutch

Wants:

Nine West adorned cuff bracelet

Coach Signature bangles and Nail Head bracelets

Coach Soho Multi Print Scarfs (the Black and Pink ones)

Nine West Forger patent peep-toe

Nine West Nacre Satin peep-toe

Ta-daah!

Hee hee. Just kidding! ;p

Chanel is having a beauty makeover promotion at Bintang Circle, Pavilion, so my sisters and I went for it - and I have to say that this is the best makeover I've ever done so far! (both my sisters agreed too). First, the makeup area is not exposed to the public (it's like in a cubicle - only laaarger) so it's comfortable to have our makeups done without a crowd watching; second, the photography area is also hidden from the public so we can pose tanpa rasa malu; third, the service is superb and professional (duhh, it's Chanel), and most importantly, there's the world-renowned 'CHANEL' logo at the backdrop for the photography, which is so cool bcoz it's like on a fashion runway or something. No other brands have ever done that (or at least, we never came across makeovers that have their brand names as the backdrop - not Dior, not Clinique, not Lancome, not Shiseido, not Armani, not Kanebo, not L'oreal, not etc etc).

The Makeup Artist asked me whether I would like to have natural or intense look for the makeup, so I said the latter one bcoz I'm so used to having natural makeup look.
Here's another photo of mine (there are 13 photos of me altogether btw)...

I have always wanted to have a makeover photo with my sisters... and at last!

The Copycat Dolls for Chanel ;D

I also took some photos with my hubby, and I think it's sweeeeter than the previous one that we took with Giorgio Armani, last few years...

Awww.... I love this shot!

Anyway, we get to redeem stuff from Chanel, and here's what yours truly got:

- Le Crayon Yeux Precision Eye Definer in Black
- Le Crayon Levres Precision Lip Definer in Natural
- Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lip Color in Admirable
- miniature Aqualumiere Gloss in Bonbon
- miniature Aqualumiere Sheer Color Lip Shine in Samoa

...and those add up to my Chanel makeup collection.

Speaking about makeups, I'm giving Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder a try, after reading the wonderful reviews at MUA. I can't wait to use it! I hope it's better than MUFE's. Will definitely post a review about it later on...

p/s: What color do you think my top is? I thought it was like brownish-gray (under normal lighting), which is why I teamed it up with that scarf of mine. But under the photographer's camera flash, it turns out to be purplish-gray instead. Hmmpph!

Middle-Eastern Cuisine

Ever since the Hong Kong trip, I have been developing a new love for Middle-Eastern cuisine (especially Falafel and Samosa) bcoz that was what we had almost everyday, which now can be categorized as one of my favorite food - besides Italian and Japanese.

Few nights ago, hubby took me to Al Diafah, which is a Middle-Eastern restaurant located in Sri Petaling (it was actually our 2nd time there), bcoz I've been having this mad craving for its Almond Milk. I was so excited bcoz the first time we went there, we didn't get the chance to dine in at the place bcoz something came up so we only tapau some Samosa and Hummus...

Anyway, the place is nice and exotic, and kinda romantic too... and the best part is, the price is so reasonable that I feel like having everything they have! (okay, I'm exaggerating. But the drinks are so.. interesting).

We ordered Hummus with pita bread (I think those are pita bread), Chicken Samosa, Falafel Sandwich, Rice Pudding for dessert and the adorable-tasting Almond Milk. The Rice Pudding is soooo yummy too - rasa gebuuu! The last time I ate it was like 5 years ago when I was in Korea. And I thought they don't have it here! Silly me! (ape jer makanan yg takde kat Mesia ni kan ;p)

MZ's favorite - Hummus

My favorite Almond Milk!

Samosa and Rice Pudding (the one in a tall glass on the left)

The spicy Falafel Sandwich

We were also given a complimentary drink each, but I'm not so sure what it was...

Hmm.. it tastes like apple and sirap and something else

We were so full that we felt like our tummies were gonna explode (there was an "explosion", except it's not from our tummies ;p)! But it was a nice dining experience and I'm sure gonna come back, especially for the Almond Milk and Rice Pudding! ;D

This and that

I was looking for a pink crocodile clip at Axxezz today bcoz I've accidentally broken my old one, so after asking the sales girl and found what I've been looking for, I went to the cashier to pay for my stuff.

Sales girl: Where are you from?
Me: Mmhh... KL? (I wasn't sure whether she meant state ke ape)
Sales girl: Ohh, you're local! You just got married? *eyeing my hands*
Me: Yeaa.. last month
Sales girl: You get married so young
Me: Well not really that young, I think. I'm 25.
Sales girl: Waaa....you look so young! I thought you baru habis SPM!

Wow, I'm like 7 years younger than my real age, huh. I wish when I'm 30, I'll look like umm... a 21-year-old! ;p

*************

I've been buying lots of black tops lately (five, to date), and I'm running out of black-ish scarfs to match. Now I need to hunt for other colored tops to balance out my wardrobe bcoz finding a nice printed black scarf is not easy. I'm tired of wearing this same scarf every time I wear a black top!

*************

Have you tried Cupcake Chic? They're soft and spongy, with 25 chic flavors to choose from, and they come in a cute box with my favorite color combination ~ pink and brown! Although I prefer J.Co donuts more, I won't say no to Persian Love (the one with pink icing). That's the only flavor I like. The others are.... hmmm a bit too sweet.

*************

Look! Hariz has shown his first sign of love for shopping. He helped his mom chose a dress at Zara. How cuteee!

"Mama, baju ni lawa la..."

**************

Last night I dreamt I was pregnant - with a baby girl! He was so excited as if it was real, so I told him... "Hello, it was just a dream!". I had to stop him from getting carried away.

According to this website, dreams related to pregnancy means:

To dream that you are pregnant, symbolizes an aspect of yourself or some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. You may not be ready to talk about it or act on it. This may also represent the birth of a new idea, direction, project or goal.

Honeymoon - Part 1

You know what? I think I'll just carry on with our honeymoon updates instead of waiting for the wedding pictures to be ready first. Tak larat haku nak tunggu...

As most of you know, we went to Hong Kong for our honeymoon. We chose it bcoz HK seems to fit the bill in terms of a) cold whether (mild winter; 11-16 degrees. Just nice!), b) shopping heaven, c) conversion rate yg sangat memberangsangkan, d) it is outside SEA, e) short flight and most importantly, both of us have never been there before.

Our flight was at 1.40pm on Sunday, a day after my reception, and we had Business Class seats. Yippie! Both parents came to send us, but my PIL left early bcoz they had to go back to Kedah...

At the VIP room

Do you like my new hand-luggage? It's made of ostrich skin. I bought it especially for the trip ;p

I was feeling a little unwell - I had running nose and rasa tak sedap badan, probably bcoz we slept really late the night before, opening presents (I was determined to open each and every present before going for honeymoon bcoz my instinct told me we'd get a digicam and yeap, my instinct was right! And not only one, but two digicams! One of 'em is a Canon Digital Ixus 860 IS given by my dad's Japanese friend. How cool! We slept at 4.30am and woke up at 7am btw!), so before boarding kitorang singgah Guardian to look for the flu medication as prescribed by Dr. Rahz aka my BIL ;p. But sadly, the pharmacy section was closed on Sunday, so instead I bought a bottle of Vitamin C.

"Rahz, can u tell me the name of the ubat u mentioned aritu?"

Zyrtec...Zyrtec. Now which one is it...?

Oh right. This is the vitamins section.

Papa-mz even followed me here! ;p

The flight to HK took only about 4 hours, and we slept right after lunch sampai la mendarat bcoz we didn't have enough sleep. Thank God for the spacious Business Class seats; eventho dpt lelap kejap tapi puas n selesa.

I had lamb steak with roasted potatoes and veggies for lunch..

MZ had err.. I think it was prawn curry or something...

We arrived at HK at about 6pm, and it was getting dark. The whether was nice and chilly. We stayed at Regal Oriental Hotel, which is a 4-star hotel in Kowloon City. Sampai2 hotel jer terus tak ngantuk tgk bilik lawaa. We didn't know that we would be staying at a special room (the Regal I-Club room) so when we reached the 3rd floor, we thought the receptionist had accidentally gave us the wrong key or something! Rupanya betul...

The interior design is very chic and contemporary, I loike! It wasn't a big room, but there were mirrors everywhere, even on the ceiling (like the pic I showed you in the previous entries) so the room looks twice as big. I nearly bumped my face on the mirrored-wall coz I thought ada ruang lagi kat sebelah pintu! Annnddd the glass-walled bathroom is just so sexy ha! Everything is see-through ;p

Talking about the glass-walled bathroom, something hilarious happened! There was one morning, I woke up and went straight to the bathroom, then I pulled the curtains and brushed my teeth as usual before taking a shower. I was totally mamai and blank, and wasn't aware of the current situation (married, on honeymoon, sharing a room with a man). I didn't notice that the curtain was not properly pulled, and when I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I was horrified when I saw a man peeking from the small opening of the curtain, dengan muka serious. Of course it was my hubby, but the way he peeked was like a stalker and automatically aku ludah bahan gosokan gigi yg ada dalam mulut lalu menjerit, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!". He screamed too coz he was shocked as well. But then he laughed. MZ said cara aku ludah tu cam org nak muntah. God knows how extremely shocked I was! Tapi kelaka la bila ingat balik... ;D

So anyway, after arriving at the hotel, we freshen up a bit, solat, and went out to look for a place to eat bcoz we were starving! We were told by the Concierge that Kowloon City Plaza is nearby - only about 5-minutes walking distance. There were not many choices of restaurants yg sesuai utk Muslims tho, so we decided to have our dinner at Pizza Hut. Mind you, Pizza Hut dia is classier than here. Ala2 Italiannies, I think. The price is "classier" as well - 50ish for a regular-sized pizza after converted to MYR...

Seafood pizza

After dinner, kitorang round2 jap and at about 9ish, we went back to our hotel.

To be continued...

I've been followed by a paparazzi!

Or rather, papa-mz (the 'z' should be pronounced in American accent, as in "zee").

Nice shots, honey. I loike it. Especially the last one! ;p

p/s: One of my purchases from La Senza is a short robe and it's oh-so-so-SO-soft and fluffy and cuddly, kalah kucing parsi! And it's on sale! ;D

p/s/s: What happens if you machine or hand wash a jeans that's supposed to be dry clean? Will it ruin the material or something? I really need to wash my Rock & Republic jeans (the one I'm wearing in the pic), tapi saya malas nak hanta dry clean...

Hello?

Hi people. I'm back!

Sorry for the long silence. We went for our honeymoon a day after the reception and just got back last Saturday so I haven't got the time to update about the weddings, let alone our honeymoon. We do have internet access at the hotel but... who on earth update their blogs on honeymoon right?! I promise I will update from A-Z. I just need to find the right time. Penat shopping tak hilang lagi ;p

Well okay okay, I'm gonna show you one of the zillion pictures we snapped during our honeymoon... It's actually my favorite.

Any idea how this picture is taken? ;)

Btw, I'm not so sure when will I get the wedding softcopy pichas from Ikram (I think it's gonna be like another 3-4 weeks' time?) so harap bersabar. And another thing, I've already forgotten my fp username and password. I guess I would have to create a new account. Hmm hmmmphh...

Anyways, both our parents are out of town (dad's out of the country btw) so my hubby (oooh I love calling him that!) and I went for a dinner date last night at Italiannies. I think this is like the 88th time we've been there ever since its opening at The Gardens, and most of the staffs there remembered us and will always greet us with either "Hi again" or "Welcome back" - which is very nice. We even got a complimentary dessert of Strawberry Cheesecake once, after like 2-3 weeks berturut2 duk makan situ. Heee...

Anyway, last night was our first time having dinner at Italiannies together, and it was so romantic. The ambiance, the food, us.. ;p

This is what keeps me coming back to Italiannies. The Classic Carbonara is the yummiest Carbonara I've ever eaten!

I love my wedding ring...

and my err... wedding bag! ;p

More updates soon. Promise!
